Hi everyone! Hope you’re all enjoying the summer so far! Can’t believe it’s already the end of July. Time is flying by (as it always does)!

I’ve been visiting family in NC this week, which has been a lot of fun, but it is actually part of a transition.

Which leads to my Big Announcement…

The Hoch has been working on a big project in Virginia Beach for the past couple of months. So we’ve been doing long distance; he’s been flying back to San Antonio on the weekends. And we’ve done this sort of thing before, but this was going to be a 15 month deal.

So we started talking about it and since I don’t have anything tying me to San Antonio, moving to VB temporarily became a no-brainer decision.

It’s been a bit of a process figuring out the details, but it’s almost official.

And VB will be our new home in Mid-August!

I like change and am really excited for it! I’ve never lived so close to the beach either. 🙂 Plus it will be closer to family and friends!

So there’s the big news! Another cross-country move for us. I guess I really am an East Coast gal.

If you have any suggestions on things we should do while in that area, let me know! I’d love to hear it.

I’m pumped for this next chapter and will continue to share our adventures here in the ole blog.
